Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Family Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law and possess the ability to navigate complex legal issues related to family matters. This role involves providing legal advice, representing clients in court, and ensuring that clients' rights are protected throughout the legal process. The Family Lawyer will also engage in negotiations, legal drafting, and research to support case development and client representation.

Responsibilities

Provide expert legal advice on family law matters including divorce, child arrangements and financial proceedings. Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations. Conduct thorough legal research. Draft legal documents. Engage in litigation processes when required, ensuring effective representation of clients' interests. Maintain accurate records of case files and client interactions within the law office. Utilise strong negotiation skills to reach favorable settlements for clients.

Skills

Proficient knowledge of family law principles and practices. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients. Experience in litigation processes and court representation. Excellent research skills with proficiency in legal research databases. Strong writing skills for drafting clear and concise legal documents. Legal administrative experience within a law office setting is preferred. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing individual caseloads effectively.
