Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Family Solicitor to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law, providing expert legal advice and representation to clients in matters such as divorce, child custody, and financial settlements. This role requires excellent communication skills, a high level of organisational ability, and proficiency in IT systems to manage case files efficiently.

Responsibilities

Provide legal advice and representation to clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and financial disputes. Prepare and review legal documents such as petitions, agreements, and court filings. Conduct negotiations on behalf of clients to reach amicable settlements. Represent clients in court hearings and mediation sessions. Maintain accurate records of case progress and client communications. Stay updated on changes in family law legislation and best practices. Collaborate with other professionals, including social workers and financial advisors, to support clients' needs.

Skills

Strong communication skills to effectively convey legal concepts to clients and negotiate with opposing parties. Excellent organisational skills for managing multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Proficiency in IT systems for document management, case tracking, and communication with clients.
