Required skills, knowledge and experience

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of family law and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional legal services to clients navigating complex family matters.

Duties

Provide expert legal advice and representation in family law matters not limited to divorce and dissolution of civil partnerships, child arrangements, financial settlements, separation agreements and cohabitation agreements. Conduct consultations with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored legal solutions. Draft legal documents such as petitions, agreements, and court submissions with precision and attention to detail. Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations, advocating for their best interests. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and case progress using our case management IT systems. Collaborate with other professionals, including social workers and financial advisors, to ensure comprehensive support for clients. Keep abreast of changes in family law legislation and best practices to provide informed advice.

Essential

Qualified solicitor with a valid practising certificate. Proven experience in family law is essential Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with clients and colleagues. Proficiency in IT systems relevant to legal practice management. A compassionate approach towards clients facing emotional challenges during family disputes. a proven success in engaging in business development activities
