Family Visitation Supervisor - Redhill Children and Family Contact Centre

About the Role:

Swan Family is seeking Family Visitation Supervisor's to join our dynamic team at the Redhill Children and Family Contact Centre. This role involves coordinating and supervising family time between children and their birth families both at our centre and in the community. This is a challenging but highly rewarding position where you can make a real difference to children and families.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Transport and escort children and young people to and from contact sessions. Observe and supervise contact between children, young people, and their parents or other family members. Manage risks and intervene when necessary to safeguard children. Maintain detailed, factual records of observations during contact sessions and share them with social workers. Attend planning meetings or reviews as required. Follow safeguarding procedures and report any concerns promptly. Participate in supervision and training courses relevant to the role.

Essential Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Children and Young People Workforce or related field. Current DBS for working with adults and children (assistance available if required).

Desirable Requirements:

Driving licence and access to a car (not essential).

Person Specification:

Child-centred and empathetic approach. Excellent communication skills. Non-judgemental and professional in practice. Suitable for social work students or those pursuing a career in social care.
