Overview


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Worker to join our team.

In this role, you will provide essential support to families in need, helping them navigate challenges and access resources. Your work will play a crucial part in enhancing the well-being of children and their families, fostering a positive environment for growth and development.

Duties


One of your key responsibilities will be providing information, emotional and practical support to families with children with a wide range of support needs, empowering them to understand and access the support available to them from external services.

This job is for you if you:

have a strong understanding of the needs of families who have children with a disability or additional support needs are driven to understand the needs of service users and identify appropriate ways to meet their needs thrive in engaging with new service users, helping them to connect with other parents and carers with lived experience have knowledge of children's rights, trauma informed and inclusive practices
