Join our team as Family Worker in Rotherham

Are you a compassionate and motivated individual who wants to change people's lives? Our team in Rotherham is looking for a Recovery Worker to join them in providing high-quality recovery care to a diverse client group. If you are enthusiastic, creative and passionate about helping others, we'd love to hear from you.

As a leading charity supporting people with drug, alcohol, and mental health challenges, we operate over 80 services across England and Scotland, providing free and confidential support to more than 100,000 people each year.

Rotherham Alcohol and Drug Service (provided by WithYou) provides free and confidential services, without judgement, to adults and young people facing challenges with drugs and alcohol. Our teams also go out into the local community - providing support to individuals regardless of where they live.

Our Family Workers provide information and advice to families in relation to substance misuse and its impact on the family. As part of your role, you will offer family focused interventions which reduce the impact of substance misuse in families, particularly on children and young people. You will work as part of an integrated network of professionals supporting young people and their families, raising awareness of and improving access to appropriate services.

This is a

at WithYou, where you will provide continuity of care through effective partnership working, care coordination, key work responsibilities, and intervention delivery. You will manage an active caseload, connecting quickly with clients and ensuring they're always treated with respect and dignity.

Essential Skills

You will have demonstrable experience of working in the health, social care or family setting, with the ability to connect quickly with service users and families, especially in relation to substance misuse education and prevention. It is important that you are self-motivated and resilient, as well as comfortable working alone and on a one to one basis.
