Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Farm Hand to join our team in the United Kingdom. This role is vital for supporting our agricultural operations and ensuring the smooth running of daily farm activities at our location. The Farm Hand will contribute to maintaining the health of our crops and animals, aligning with our commitment to sustainable farming practices.

Responsibilities

I am currently recruiting an experienced general farm worker to work on our successful Farm.
Due to the location and nature of the business applicants must be able to drive and be flexible to cover shifts over a 7 day period.

Working with one other or at times alone, you will be responsible for looking after all cattle

Daily duties include; preparing feed for all cattle, and checking food and water supplies and recording findings. Also you will be expected to keep the workplace neat and tidy and a knowledge of food hygiene as well as upholding excellent welfare standards , identify problems and assist in ensuring the cattle are catered for each day.

Extra hours will be available depending on the daily needs of the cattle.

You will need to be reliable, conscientious and flexible with a genuine interest in UK Agriculture and Livestock.

Qualifications

Proven experience of working on a farm with cattle. Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate power tools safely. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations. Experience with animal care and horticultural practices is preferred. Familiarity with hand tools and maintenance procedures. Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
