We are seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our busy livestock farm, with the primary focus on working with indoor, straw-based pig units. Previous experience in pig husbandry is an advantage but not essential for the right candidate.
Responsibilities include:
Daily care and handling of pigs
Cleaning and maintaining buildings, including the use of a pressure washer
Operating farm machinery; the ability to drive a tractor is beneficial
A full UK driving licence is essential. You will work as part of a team, though some tasks will require working independently. Must be able to communicate effectively in English and start work at
6:00am
. Saturday morning work is required.
