We are looking for an outgoing and confident person with a love of the outdoors, farming and animal (ideally domestic and farm) handling experience to support our children to enjoy learning again to help them settle at school. Some experience of working with children would be advantageous.
This role involves working with children 1:1 or in very small groups who can be verbally and physically aggressive in an outdoor environment in all weathers. To be successful in this role, you need to be empathic but able to hold boundaries around behaviour. You need to be resilient and have a sense of humour.
9am - 3pm, 46 weeks per year (40.4 working weeks (term time, inset plus 4 preparation days outside of term time) 5.6 weeks holiday inc Bank Holidays)
Salary: 13 gross per hour. 17,940 per annum (FTE 23920))
