Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs?
We're looking for a warm, patient and committed Learning Support Assistant to join our inclusive and supportive school team.
You'll work closely with class teachers, the SENCo, and outside specialists to provide tailored support for pupils with special educational needs--helping them to thrive both in and out of the classroom.
What you'll do:
Provide 1:1 and small group support
Modify learning resources and create a nurturing environment
Encourage social interaction and positive behaviour
Support personalised learning and communication plans
Work collaboratively with staff, families and external professionals
Maintain records and contribute to progress reviews
What we're looking for:
Experience supporting children with SEN (Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, etc.)
A calm, compassionate and adaptable approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above)
Confidence using IT and a willingness to learn
