Shop and Deli Assistant

to join our team at The Lambing Shed. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love interacting with customers, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

2-3 shifts per week, with a minimum of one being a weekend.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide friendly and efficient customer service. Prepare and serve fresh deli items, including sandwiches, salads, and hot food. Ensure the shop and deli are well-stocked, clean, and organised. Working on the till, processing payments, and assisting with stock inventory. Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety. Assist in creating attractive displays for shop and deli products. Support team members and collaborate to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Skills and Qualifications:

Previous experience in retail or food service is preferred. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A passion for food and a friendly, approachable personality. Flexibility with shifts. Food safety certification is a plus (but we can provide training).

All shifts are between 8.30am and 5.30pm, with a minimum of one being the weekend.

Previous experience in a deli or shop environment would be an advantage, and full training will be given. We very much look forward to hearing from you.

Salary dependent on experience.

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
