Countryside location with stunning views, yet located within convenient driving distance to both Manchester and Huddersfield - OL3 5RQ - Please check the location before applying and your ability to commute before applying.

We are looking for a highly driven individual, with a real passion for food, presentation and customer service.

This is a 5 day working week and must include at least one weekend day.

A regular normal working day would be 8.30am - 5pm, but this will be a salary based roll and contracted hours are 40 - 45.

Duties will include full supervision of the shop floor and staffing, ensuring all company policies, legal requirements and Health & Hygiene requirements are adhered to. Positives would include being adaptable within our small family business, with a strong sense of passion, commitment, and reliability.

The role:
Managing day-to-day operations and overseeing expectations.

Ensuring that customer experience is of excellent quality.

Helping to maximise sales opportunities through visual merchandising and supportive information.

Motivating and manage any staff training which is needed, with consistent monitoring.

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Helping to manage stock control/rotation.

Supervising deliveries for accuracy and dealing with paperwork/credit notes.

Liaising with other departments regarding any potential issues that may arise.

Assisting with ordering and sourcing new produce.

The ideal candidate:

will have a proven track record in a similar retail environment

is enthused by sales targets and driven with results.

will be highly organised, accurate and reliable with have excellent attention to detail.

have previous experience with till systems.

will be a team player, energetic, enthusiastic and dynamic.

has passion when it comes to food quality, traceability and knowledge with field to fork.

show excellent customer service skills.

is professional and well-presented.

This is a physically demanding role which require speed, strength and a good level of physical fitness.
