This is a permanent, full-time role offering the opportunity to work with modern equipment in a dynamic and supportive environment.
The Role
You'll operate self-propelled fruit sprayers, delivering precise and timely applications of crop protection products across our soft fruit enterprise.
Responsible for operating and maintaining sprayers and associated farm machinery.
Assist with other farm work as required.
Liaise with agronomy team to ensure optimal spray timing and application accuracy.
Support additional operations during peak times.
Essential requirements:
PA1 and PA2 qualifications (or a willingness to complete these, training is available)
Experience operating farm machinery
A practical, adaptable approach to changing conditions
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Clear communication with colleagues and clients
Desirable:
Skilled in the safe and efficient operation of modern spraying equipment.
An understanding of pesticide application, crop protection, and legislative compliance.
Capable of working flexibly to match crop and weather conditions - including weekends or early mornings as needed.
A self-motivated, detail-oriented operator who can work alone or as part of a small team.
What's Offered
Annual salary: 35-40K, depending on experience

It is based in the East Neuk of Fife on the outskirts of Crail, one of Scotland's most picturesque coastal villages near St Andrews. Barnsmuir has been owned and run by the Stockwell family since 1990.
