About Us
We farm 3 units totally 1000 acres in Angus, just north of Dundee between Auchterhouse and Tealing. The farm has 120 breeding cows (Aberdeen Angus and Hereford) calving in March/April; 500 breeding ewes (Easycare) lambing outdoors in April/May and grows around 300 acres of cereals, mostly spring sowing.
We have had various great people work for us in recent years for a block of 6 months to a year travelling from NZ and Australia who have been a key part of the team and family. Our own family, Finlay age 20 is currently working in NZ and Sophie age 18 is at Harper Adams University and so we are looking to strengthen our team ahead of a busy spring period. We are open to finding the best person to join our team, regardless of where they come from - local or not so local - but want to find a good match for our business. Although recruiting for a 5 month period, if things are working well for both, there will be an option to extend.
