Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Farm Worker. This role is essential in maintaining the productivity and efficiency of our agricultural operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, ability to work independently and the ability to work in various conditions. Responsibilities will include a range of tasks related to animal care, animal husbandry, bird stockman ship and various farm tasks.

Responsibilities

Bird stockman-ship Maintaining high animal husbandry Including but not limited to: bedding birds, checking water systems, ensuring feed operations are running and health checking of birds. Maintain a clean and organised work environment. Running egg belts daily: cleaning & packing eggs. Assisting in poultry clean out alongside other farm workers. May be needed for further farm assistance during quiet poultry hours.

Skills

Work under their own initiative and independently. Ability to problem solve & open to learning. Responsible for their own quality of work under instruction; ability to take constructive criticism. Basic math skills for measuring quantities of eggs etc. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 20 kg). Familiarity of poultry/farm practices is beneficial but not required as full training is provided. A proactive approach to maintenance tasks.

Pay: Up to 26,000.00 per year
