MorePeople are working exclusively with a renowned agricultural business to secure a new individual to strengthen their existing board.

The Farm Director role is first and foremost a farming leadership position with aims to achieve the best possible financial results for the farming business. Including the management of technical, business and sustainability goals of the company and its clients.

You may already be in a Head of Agriculture or Farm Director position, with experience dealing with both internal and external stakeholders.

You will be a strong personality, inquisitive by nature, knowledgeable and passionate about farming.

As with any director position people management is a key element of this role, overseeing knowledgeable farm managers and being their port-of-call for all questions and queries. These can range from farm planning to budgeting, sustainability or personal development.

Not only this, but you will also have the capacity to manage upwards and hold your place at board level. You can already build strong internal relationships and challenge senior management. You\'ll want to do this, to make sure that they are operating in the best they can be. They want your opinion.

You will build collaborative and strong relationships with your clients who you will support through every aspect of their business success. Your current role will have equipped you with commercial awareness to do this, and you\'ll always be thinking about ways to bring new clients into the business.

The business is a well-known agricultural brand who manage tens of thousands of hectares across the UK. They\'ve been around for over 50 years, and everyone in agriculture will know who they are.
