Fashion Show Assistant Needed for One-Day Collaborative Event
We're looking for an enthusiastic, organized, and proactive Fashion Show Assistant to provide crucial, hands-on support to the designer for a high-energy, one-day collaborative fashion event.
This is a fast-paced but rewarding role where you'll be instrumental in ensuring a smooth and successful show execution. If you thrive in a team-oriented environment and want direct experience with live event production, we want to hear from you!
The Ideal Candidate
Has a fashion background or equivalent experience (strongly preferred).
Is highly organized, resourceful, and great under pressure.
Thrives in a collaborative environment and can take direction quickly.
Key Responsibilities (Role Description)
The Fashion Show Assistant will be essential to the smooth operation of the show, focusing on backstage logistics and direct support to the designer and styling team.
Backstage Management
: Work within the fast-paced backstage area to maintain organization of garments, accessories, and styling tools. Assist in setting up and breaking down the dressing area.Fittings Support
: Assist the designer with model fittings, which may include pinning, minor adjustments, steaming, tagging garments, and ensuring a precise fit before the show.Garment Prep
: Handle garments with care, ensuring they are steamed, pressed, and show-ready.Lineup Execution
: Support the designer or show producer in organizing the final model lineup (running order), ensuring each model is dressed correctly and sent to the runway at the precise moment required.General Support
: Be proactive, anticipating the designer's needs and assisting the team with any urgent tasks that arise during the build-up to and execution of the show.To apply, please submit your resume and a brief description of your relevant fashion experience.
