Retail Manager - Boutique Fashion Store

Caversham, Reading

Salary: 28,000-30,000 per year + bonus opportunities

Full-time | 5 days a week (Tuesday-Saturday, approx. 37.5 hrs)

The Edit Caversham, independent ladies fashion boutique are looking for a confident, creative and highly organised Retail Manager to take the lead in our beautiful ladieswear boutique in the heart of Caversham.

This is a hands-on, autonomous role where you'll run the store day-to-day, take real pride in presentation, build relationships with our customers, and help grow both our in-store and online presence.

? The Role

As our Retail Manager, you will:

Run the store Tuesday-Saturday (10-6 midweek, 10-5 Saturdays) Maintain exceptional visual merchandising and styling standards Create engaging social media content (reels, try-ons, weekly drops) Manage our Shopify store & POS (product set-ups, stock, pricing, collections) Deliver warm, personalised customer service Build relationships with regular customers and nurture loyalty Oversee and guide an ad-hoc retail assistant Process & quality check deliveries, update inventory and keep the store immaculate Help plan seasonal launches, events and promotions Handle daily cashing-up and all store admin Support occasional Sundays, Mondays, evenings or meetings when needed
You'll have a lot of independence and the freedom to make the store feel special every day.

? About You

We'd love to hear from you if you are:

Experienced in boutique or fashion retail (supervisor or manager level) Confident using Shopify and Shopify POS Creative -- especially with social media content Strong with styling and visual merchandising Highly organised with great attention to detail Comfortable working independently and taking ownership Friendly, welcoming and naturally great with customers Positive, proactive and passionate about boutique retail
