Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, fostering student engagement, and delivering high-quality instruction tailored to the needs of diverse learners. The Teacher will play a crucial role in shaping the academic and personal growth of students, ensuring they reach their full potential.

Pay: 30,950-36,400 pro rata per year

Hours: 21 hours per week

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards. Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and fosters a love of learning. Assess and evaluate student progress through regular assignments, tests, and feedback. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behaviour. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration to support student development and address any concerns. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices. Organise extracurricular activities that promote student involvement and community engagement.

Requirements

A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) is essential. Strong knowledge of the subject area(s) being taught, with the ability to adapt content for different learning styles. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for education are crucial traits for success in this role. Experience working with children or young adults in an educational setting is highly desirable. Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively while maintaining a positive learning environment.
