Tyre Fitter/ Fast FitTechnician

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tyre/Fast Fit Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for providing excellent customer service. As a Tyre/Fast Fit Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of tyres. Fitting of brakes and suspension components and carrying out basic vehicle servicing ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Duties

Perform tyre installations, rotations, and repairs using hand tools and power tools. Carry out repairs to braking and suspension systems to high standards Carry out exceptional levels of vehicle servicing in line with manufacturers specifications Conduct thorough inspections of tyres to assess wear and damage. Maintain accurate records of services performed on each vehicle. Provide exceptional customer service by advising clients on tyre care and vehicle maintenance. Assist in maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment. Handle heavy lifting of tyres and equipment as required. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Proven mechanical knowledge with several years experience in tyre fitting or automotive repair essential. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients. Driving Licence ESSENTIAL Ability to maintain focus in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols. Physical capability to perform heavy lifting tasks as needed. A willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies in tyre maintenance.
