About the Role

As a Production Operative, you'll be involved in the day-to-day packing and assembly of finished products, including both frozen and chilled goods. You'll work with a variety of machinery and follow hygiene and safety procedures to keep production running smoothly.



Here's What You Can Expect to be Doing

Packing and assembling finished products in trays and boxes. Boxing up, stacking, and palletising products ready for despatch. Operating different packing machinery such as sealers and metal detectors (training provided). Working safely and efficiently in a chilled environment. Performing area and equipment clean-downs during changeovers and at the end of each shift. Following all company hygiene rules and PPE standards. Ensuring food safety and hygiene meet the required industry standards. Completing and signing off daily and weekly hygiene schedules. Carrying out pre-start checks and complying with health and safety requirements. Managing heavy workloads in a high-volume food production environment.

Works well in a fast-paced, team environment. Has great attention to detail and takes pride in their work. Is reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards. Can work flexibly and adapt to different areas of production.

Previous experience in food manufacturing or production is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
