About the Hotel

Shendish Manor Hotel Rooms in Apsley, near Hemel Hempstead Accommodated with comfort and style are 70 bedrooms for a relaxing night's sleep. Timeless elegance has been recreated in the distinctive 18 bedrooms in the original Manor House, each individually designed to reflect the magnificent character of this historic estate. The modern wing has 52 further air-conditioned bedrooms, where the high-class furnishings and decor have been selected in toning colors to create a warm and inviting ambience. For the less mobile, bedrooms are available that are fitted with handrails and include a full en-suite wet room and roll-in shower. All of the spacious rooms benefit from hypo allergenic pillows and duvets, multiple channeled LCD television, telephone, hairdryer, ironing station, hospitality tray, complimentary broadband internet access, complimentary wireless broadband, 24-hour room service and en-suite bathrooms with bath and either a separate or overhead power shower. About F&B Team Member role

You will need to have experience of working in a restaurant or room service within a hotel or restaurant background and ideally have knowledge of Food Safety and Allergens Awareness. You will be passionate about food; have a welcoming personality; have great communication skills; be a team player.

The successful F&B Team Member will undertake the following duties:

Taking orders and assisting guests Know F&B menu and be able to make recommendations Know all F&B related promotions Responsible for food service Provide a high level of customer service Manage payment transactions Assist in the receipt of deliveries Quality-check our stock Maintain all the Health & Safety requirements within the department related to food, cleanliness, etc.

F&B Team Member skills and requirements

Good customer care skills. Ability to work in a busy environment Ability to maintain good working relationships with colleagues across the hotel Constantly improve knowledge and show a desire to learn, attend company's trainings Take a responsible approach towards timekeeping Maintain high levels of enthusiasm and commitment to every task undertaken Good communication skills Proficiency in English Language is strongly preferred Prior experience with Hospitality and food and beverage service shall be highly preferred
