We are seeking a dedicated and diligent Fee Earner to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing client cases, ensuring compliance with legal standards, and providing exceptional service to clients. The post of Fee Earner requires a candidate endowed with a strong understanding of legal processes and the ability to work independently whilst also contributing to a collaborative team environment.

To handle a portfolio of claimant serious injury claims for Minster Law clients, to generate fee income and contribute to the general success of the department. The caseload is predominantly RTA based and it is anticipated you will deal with cases valued up to 50,000.

Duties for Fee Earner



You will be responsible for delivering excellent client care to our clients who have suffered from a traumatic and life changing event. Regular communication and face to face meetings with your client. Instructions and meetings with a multi-disciplinary team of experts for example, medical experts, case managers, care experts, architects, forensic accountants, counsel Analysis of evidence and research of legal issues on liability, causation and quantum Drafting documents including statements, pleadings and schedules of loss Securing early interim payments and appropriate rehabilitation. Optimising your client's settlement. Ability to work with a task based case management system to ensure regular contact is maintained with all clients, providing exceptional customer service and managing their expectations. Raising awareness of the department and developing your profile. Perform to a high level in a target orientated environment. To undertake any other tasks as deemed relevant and reasonable by the business

Essential skills for Fee Earner



A relevant legal qualification (e.g., LLB, LPC) or equivalent experience in a legal environment is essential. Strong understanding of legal terminology and processes related to the specific area of law practised. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly. Exceptional organisational skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines effectively. Proficiency in using case management software and Microsoft Office Suite is desirable. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong analytical skills.
