Adam Bernard Solicitors is seeking experienced and self-driven
Fee Earners / Consultants / Solicitors
to join our Litigation and Immigration departments. We welcome applications from qualified solicitors, consultants, or experienced fee earners with strong case-handling skills and the ability to manage their own caseload with minimal supervision.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and dynamic firm where you will handle a diverse caseload, benefit from administrative support, and have the flexibility to work under an employed or consultancy arrangement.
Manage a varied caseload of civil and/or commercial litigation matters.
Draft pleadings, witness statements, applications, and correspondence.
Conduct legal research, prepare bundles, and comply with CPR deadlines.
Attend court hearings, mediations, and client conferences.
Liaise with clients, courts, counsel, and third parties.
Ensure files are maintained to Lexcel and SRA standards.
Immigration (Personal & Business)
Handle a wide range of UK immigration applications including:
Spouse/partner visas
Skilled Worker visa & Sponsor Licence matters
EUSS applications
ILR and Naturalisation
Human rights/private life applications
Appeals, administrative reviews, and PAP/JR matters
Draft legal representations, applications, and supporting documents.
Advise clients on personal and business immigration routes.
Maintain accurate case files in line with compliance standards.
General Responsibilities (Both Departments)
Manage your own caseload efficiently with minimal supervision.
Provide clear, high-quality legal advice tailored to each client's needs.
Achieve monthly billing targets (for employed roles).
Maintain excellent file management and compliance with Lexcel/SRA rules.
Maintain strong client relationships and ensure positive client experience.
Participate in business development as required.
Key Skills & Experience Required
Solicitor, Consultant, or experienced Fee Earner.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in either
Litigation
or
Immigration
.
Strong drafting and communication skills.
Ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
Strong knowledge of relevant procedural rules (CPR) or UK Immigration Rules.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Professional and client-focused approach.
Ability to meet billing or performance targets (where applicable).
