Overview

We are seeking a caring and dedicated Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional childcare services. The ideal candidate will have experience in nurturing children, engaging them in educational activities, and ensuring their safety and well-being. This role requires a proactive individual who can create a positive environment for children while supporting their developmental needs.

Responsibilities

Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities, including educational games and outdoor play Assist with homework and provide teaching support in English and French Prepare meals and snacks for the children, ensuring dietary needs are met Maintain a clean and organised environment for play and learning Communicate effectively with parents regarding the children's progress and any concerns Drive children to school, extracurricular activities, or appointments as needed

Qualifications

Proven experience in childcare, nannying, or teaching is highly desirable Strong understanding of child development principles Ability to communicate fluently in English; proficiency in French is an advantage Valid driving licence with a clean driving record preferred Excellent interpersonal skills with a nurturing attitude towards children Ability to handle emergencies calmly and effectively First Aid certification is a plus
