We are a family in Nottingham (Beeston), looking for a new au pair. We have a large new build house and you would have your own en suite room with kitchenette away from the main house. We are a very nice family to work with. We are easy to speak to, supportive and proactive. Our son is quite energetic, quite a typical boy - loves football and has a lot of character! Our daughter is a sweet, happy, gentle sweetheart who is having help to speak and has an autism diagnosis.

We need someone really special who can be part of our team to support her in that goal. We live on a safe, private development of 3 houses behind gates, our neighbours are all lovely. We have a large ground floor kitchen / living area. Each child has their own large bedroom, they share a family bathroom. We have a home office, and two further large bedrooms that the parents use / sometimes used for guests. Then there is an annex which would be for our au pair. We have a nice garden with trampoline and swings for the children. Nottingham City is about half an hour on the tram, the tram stop is about 5-10 min walk from us. Beeston is 2 stops away where there are bars, restaurants, cinema etc.

We are very active at the weekends - our son plays a lot of football, and other sports like golf and we take the children swimming, we take them to birthday parties, parks, walks, hikes etc. Our 7 year old is in Year 2 our 3 year old is based at home 3 days a week and goes to nursery 2 days per week with a play therapist. At home she is having lots of play therapy to help her with speech. I would be looking for a 12 month commitment minimum, starting some time between July - Aug 2025. 40 hours per week. We ideally want someone that has some childcare experience, goes above and beyond in all their work, both with the children and also very importantly with keeping house, has high standards of cleanliness and strong work ethic.

Both parents are working and we need someone that is really reliable and trustworthy. We have a weekly cleaner and ironing service for bedsheets and shirts but there is still lots of small things that need to be sorted daily. You will also sometimes be taking our daughter to nursery and picking up, and sometimes the same with our son (not usually both children at the same time). Hours would mainly be 6.30am - 10.30am / 4.30pm - 7.30pm +5h flexibly. We may sometimes have additional hours to offer at the weekend for payment if you wish to do so. There will be the potential to come with us on family holidays if desired. The pay is negotiable, but we are looking to pay more than 'au pair pocket money' and this will include all bills eg utilities, weekly cleaner, wifi, council tax, water and Sky.
