Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while adhering to hygiene regulations. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.

Experience

At least 5 years of previous experience in food preparation or a similar role is essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A genuine desire to help others and provide outstanding customer service is essential. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous to ensure compliance with health regulations.
