Rebound Care and Support are seeking to recruit flexible experienced female brain injury support workers to support our client. Our client is a female who lives in her own flat in Greenhithe.
Our client lives in Greenhithe, and you will be working on 1:1 basis. The role will focus on providing personalised support to enhance her independence, daily structure, respecting boundaries, wellbeing and community engagement. Our client is looking for someone cheerful and confident to accompany her outdoors, our client loves to travel - you must be willing travelling abroad with client and able to travel several times per year. Our client would like support to engage in more social activities, be accompanied to the gym, go on days out, to gain independence when living on her own and support with carrying out daily living tasks.
Due to the client needs we are seeking for energetic and active females only, who can drive and have access to their own vehicle.
Following personalised support plans and risk assessments
Assist individuals in accessing community to improve their quality of life.
Support individuals in setting and achieving their personal and rehabilitation goals.
Provide guidance and support to the client, ensuring best practices and a person-centered approach.
Assist service users attend health activities.
Ensure accurate record-keeping of all support provided, maintaining professional and respectful documentation.
Weekly meal ideas, food shopping and preparation- encouraging a healthier diet.
Guidance and support with the completion of daily living tasks such as cleaning, shopping and cooking.
Accompanying on days out including but not exhaustive: gym, shopping, social groups, for coffee, animal sanctuary, using the trains/buses.
Experience
We are looking for supportive, patient and committed team members to provide the care during the day.
The Ideal candidates will need to have experience in working with BI clients, attention to detail and have a can-do attitude.
Work flexibly to meet the client and family's needs.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work within a family setting.
Clean driving licence, will have access to clients vehicle however will need own .car due to location.
Confident driver.
Training & Background Checks
An enhanced DBS check & full training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client and you will also be supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
