MMAB are in an exciting period of growth and are looking for experienced, flexible female carers to join our dedicated team.

As a Care Assistant, you'll play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of care across our services.

Shifts are between 7am and 1pm, 1pm - 9pm or full days, alternate weekends or weekend only, with visit times paid and mileage paid between clients.

Female applicants only, due to the needs of the people we support (Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1)

Must

be a driver with own car to travel between client homes and to support clients to access the community and attend appointments.

What you'll do

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation Support with medication and daily routines Help clients build skills, confidence, and independence Be a friendly face, a listening ear, and a trusted presence Foster strong relationships with clients and their families through effective communication Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety during travel. Help maintain a clean and safe environment within the client's home. Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship.

Requirements

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes. A valid driving licence is essential for roles involving transportation of clients. Ability to follow care plans accurately and adapt to the needs of individual clients. A caring attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality support to those in need.

Pay: 12.80-13.20 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 30 per week
