Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide essential care and support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have a caring nature and a strong desire to assist those requiring assistance with daily activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Administer medication following prescribed guidelines
- Support clients with mobility and physical exercises
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and tidy living environment
- Monitor and report changes in the client's health or behaviour
Qualifications
- Previous experience in care, home care, or childcare is advantageous
- Knowledge of behaviour management techniques
- First aid certification is desirable
- Ability to administer medication safely and accurately
- Experience in patient care, nursing home, or similar settings is beneficial
- Capable of heavy lifting when required
