Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. Duties

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' mental well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding any changes in client condition or needs. Document care provided and report any concerns or observations to the appropriate personnel. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, utilising safe driving practices. Utilise mechanical knowledge when necessary for assisting clients with mobility aids or other equipment.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and their families. A valid driving licence is essential; experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is advantageous. Familiarity with warehouse operations may be beneficial for certain caregiving tasks. Mechanical knowledge will be an asset when assisting clients with various equipment or mobility aids. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is crucial for success in this role.
