Either Tuesday or Wednesday sleep/ wake night shift 8pm to 8am

Role:
We are looking for a Deputy Team Leader for our Client in Enfield. The Deputy will work closely to manage our wonderful team of support workers, alongside the Team Leader.
Our client doesn't let his acquired brain injury stop his sense of fun and enjoying his hobbies such, accessing local parks with his four-legged best friend, accessing the community (shopping), reading comics, magazines and doing quizzes.
Our Client requires one to one support to facilitate all aspects of his day to day needs; medication administration, moving and handling support with transfers from and to his wheelchair, personal care, basic food preparation, engaging in home physiotherapy programmes, listening to his eclectic taste in music and most importantly, supporting our client to access meaningful outings and activities to promote his wellbeing. Our Client has some communication difficulties and therefore needs a support worker who is clearly spoken, patient and will work alongside him to enable him to communicate effectively

Specific responsibilities of the Deputy Team Leader role:
Admin elements of the role that can be worked remotely including; rota management, care plans, risk assessments, diary planning
Medication management - administering, monitoring charts and ordering stock
Working closely with family and wider multidisciplinary team to support client.
About You:
Driver with clean full UK licence is essential and will be required to drive the client's wheelchair accessible vehicle.
Sense of humour
Two years' experience working in a care setting
Previous experience working in a senior support worker role or deputy role is preferred.
Confident in using IT systems including Microsoft Office.
Able to follow Care Plans and be organised to provide a structured daily routine
Motivational and encourage P to achieve his full potential
Happy to work around animals and support our client in walking his lovely, if somewhat vocal, family dog.
Ability to be adaptable to working alongside different agencies and people involved within our client's life i.e. family members, medical professionals, support team, care agencies and therapists
