Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated HCAs to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their own homes, assisting them with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. Your ability to communicate effectively and follow care plans will be vital in delivering high-quality care. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, as travel between clients' homes is required.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Support clients with mobility and physical activities to enhance their independence Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences Help clients with medication management as per care plans Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties Document daily activities, changes in client condition, and any concerns to ensure effective communication with the care team Foster positive relationships with clients through effective communication and companionship Adhere to all health and safety regulations while providing care

Qualifications

Proven experience in home care or a similar role is preferred but not essential Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written Ability to drive and hold a valid driving licence for transportation of clients as needed Familiarity with creating and following care plans is advantageous Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others
