About the Role:
Unite Care Group is currently recruiting compassionate and reliable individuals to join our team as Care Assistants in Cardiff. This role involves supporting people in their own homes with daily living tasks, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.
You will play a vital role in the lives of our clients by delivering person-centred care, offering companionship, and supporting them with tasks such as personal care, medication, meal preparation, and general household duties. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in their community.
Key Responsibilities:
Support with the administration of medication (following appropriate training)
Help with preparing meals and ensuring nutritional needs are met
Perform light household duties including cleaning and laundry
Provide emotional support and companionship
Assist clients with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
Promote independence, dignity, and well-being at all times
Accurately record and report care delivery and any changes in the client's condition

Who We Are Looking For:
Individuals with a caring, patient, and respectful attitude
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous care experience is desirable but not essential - full training is provided
Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the UK
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred, but not required
