We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and private residences. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for clients through attentive personal care, medication management, and emotional support. Responsibilities
Provide personalised patient care, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
Support clients with medication administration following prescribed instructions
Assist with meal preparation and feeding as required
Manage behaviour and implement care plans for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease
Facilitate activities that promote mental and physical well-being
Support clients with transportation needs, including driving to appointments or social outings
Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
Recognise and respond appropriately to medical emergencies using first aid skills when necessary
Document care provided accurately and report any concerns to supervising healthcare professionals
Skills
Experience in assisted living, nursing home environments, or home care is highly desirable
Strong understanding of patient care, dementia, Alzheimer's, hospice, and senior care needs
Proficiency in medication administration and first aid procedures
Excellent behaviour management skills and patience when working with vulnerable populations
Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility support
Compassionate approach to caregiving with excellent communication skills
Valid driving licence for transportation duties
Childcare experience is a plus for family-oriented roles
Organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of care
