Live-In Carer
to support clients in the comfort of their own homes. This role is essential to improving the quality of life for individuals who require round-the-clock care -- including older adults and individuals with specific support needs. The ideal candidate will have a genuine desire to help others and be committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care across various locations in the UK.
Duties
Provide personal care assistance, including washing, dressing, toileting, and grooming
Support with daily living activities such as meal preparation, fluid intake, and medication prompts
Assist with mobility, including transfers and repositioning, using appropriate techniques
Monitor health conditions and report any concerns to the care coordinator or medical professionals
Engage clients in stimulating conversation and activities to promote mental well-being
Perform light housekeeping duties to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment
Implement care plans and encourage independence where possible
Build strong, respectful relationships with clients and their families to foster trust and support
Requirements
Previous experience in live-in care, domiciliary care, or supporting vulnerable adults is highly desirable
Ability to manage tasks independently and handle day-to-day care routines
Good verbal communication and written English skills
A caring, patient, and empathetic approach to caregiving
Must be able to commit to live-in rotations (e.g. 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off)

Driving licence and access to a vehicle is a strong advantage
Must have the right to work in the UK -
not suitable for student or skilled worker visa holders
Desirable (but not mandatory):
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care
Up-to-date First Aid or Moving & Handling training
Familiarity with safeguarding protocols
