The role is particularly suited if you enjoy daily outings and interactions, while seeking consistent hours to balance work and family life around childcare routines, with applicants required to be 25 years of age or older due to insurance criteria.
About the Role
We're seeking a reliable, empathetic, and soft?spoken person to provide support in a calm, well?kept property. You'll need initiative, compassion, a smart professional appearance, and the ability to accompany on varied daily outings.
Driving is central to this role, so confidence and a genuine love of being behind the wheel are essential. You'll be fully insured to drive the wheelchair adapted vehicle.

Option 1: 16 Hours Per Week - Ideal in School/Nursery Hours + Two Sundays per Month
Wednesday: 09:00 - 15:00
Friday: 09:00 - 15:00
Two Sundays per month: 14:00 - 20:00
Option 2: 18 Hours Per Week - Ideal in School/Nursery Hours + Two Sundays per Month
Wednesday: 09:00 - 16:30
Friday: 09:00 - 16:30

Flexible scheduling available, including minimal weekend shifts, while ensuring the service user's needs are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote independence and build confidence
Provide personal care, including toileting, bathing, and dressing
Transport and accompany to medical appointments
Carry out light household tasks and errands
Accompany on uplifting activities: scenic drives, coffee shops, garden centres, local attractions, seasonal markets, festive displays, and gentle seaside walks

Location Requirements
Applicants must live within a 12-mile radius of Accrington, including areas such as Blackburn and Rossendale. Applications outside this radius will not be considered.
