We're looking for a calm and quietly spoken individual with a practical mindset, strong common sense, and a caring nature to provide thoughtful support to a cheerful, bright, and articulate man in his 30s.
He has a complex physical disability and uses a wheelchair for mobility, but that doesn't hold him back from embracing life. He enjoys getting out and about, making the most of his daily adventures and discovering new places to explore.
Compassion, patience, and understanding are at the heart of this role. Your presence will bring comfort and independence helping him navigate each day with ease.
As a key member, you will:
Promote independence and build confidence.
Establish a steady routine to maintain stability and reliability.
Accompany to essential medical appointments.
Create enjoyable days out: whether it's a scenic drive, a walk by the coast, a visit to the zoo, or a show - including trips to garden centres, coffee shops, shopping centres, and other destinations.

Schedule One (18 hrs/week)
Wednesdays: 9:00 AM to 15:00 PM
Fridays: 9:00 AM to 15:00 PM
Sundays: 14:00 to 20:00 PM
Schedule Two (18 hrs/week)
Wednesdays: 9:00 AM to 16:00 PM
Fridays: 9:00 AM to 16:00 PM
Sundays: 12:00 PM to 20:00 PM (Just two Sundays a month)

What You'll Be Doing:
Safely transport the service user in a specially adapted automatic vehicle.
Provide personal care, including toileting, bathing, and dressing.
Support with household tasks and running errands.
Plan and accompany the service user on daily outings based on his preferences, ensuring a fulfilling and enjoyable experience.
What We're Looking For:
A calm and professional attitude, with strong organisational skills.
A clean UK driving licence and a genuine passion for driving.
Be Physically fit and capable of sustaining an active daily routine.
Optimal medical health and overall physical well-being.
A confident motorway driver, ensuring safe and smooth journeys.
Willingness to undergo a DBS check (provided by the employer).
Reliability, dedication, and strong decision-making skills.

Working Environment:
You will provide support in a clean, safe home environment where the service user lives with his mother while his primary carer provides her assistance at different times.
