About The Role
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and proactive support worker to provide daytime support to a 20-year-old female client with a traumatic brain injury. The client is fully mobile, communicates clearly, and does not require any personal care. She is young, active, and full of personality.
Support will include accompanying her to appointments, getting out and about in the community, going for food, and taking part in activities she enjoys such as pottery painting, playing pool, or shopping online. She's enthusiastic about all things beauty-related and enjoys fitness routines.
A typical day may involve attending scheduled outings, supporting her with structure and motivation, and being a positive, grounding presence. She responds well to support workers who are consistent, empathetic, and dependable. She values reliability and dislikes being late or having appointments cancelled.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference in a young person's journey toward greater independence, confidence, and social participation.
Your main attributes will be friendly, approachable and have empathy towards your client treating them with respect and dignity at all times. We support vulnerable people to live as independently as possible, by building their confidence and skills to realise their potential.
