12.25 - 12.50 per hour depending upon experience and qualifications.

Hours:



7 shifts across a fortnight; 3 shifts on week 1 and and 4 shifts on week 2 including Weekends and Bank holidays. Rota repeats from week 3.

Hours 2030 - 0730.

11 hour shifts (including 1 hour paid break)

Our Children's Home in Ashford, Surrey are recruiting for Residential Support Workers now! We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and passionate people to become an integral part of our support team. In this role, you will support our young people and be responsible for providing compassionate care during your time with them.

You will be required to ensure that all children's and young people's physical and emotional night care needs are met.

This may include managing challenging behaviour and providing personal care, advice, assistance and support.

Your role will be to help children and young people settle into night-time and morning routines, such as washing, getting up in the morning and getting ready for bed.

The role will also involve undertaking domestic duties.

Washing/Bathing Dressing Taking Medication Meal Preparation

Please note that you must be 22 years old or above to apply as per children's homes regulations. You must also have a valid driving licence (two years preferred).

Essential Experience :


Preferred 2 years Previous experience of working with children who have Learning Disabilities and who may also have physical and sensory disabilities for at least 1 year in a residential setting.
Previous experience of working with children who may have challenging behaviour in an residential settings.

Essential Qualifications:


NVQ Level 2 Health & Social

The successful applicants will be appointed subject to references and enhanced DBS check and you will be subject to a rigorous safer recruitment process and must adhere to a strict code of conduct regarding your behaviour at all times.
