About the Role

Care Managers Ltd is looking for a compassionate and reliable

female Support Worker

to provide person-centred care for a young nursing mother with mild learning disability and dyslexia who lives independently.

This is a rewarding part-time opportunity for someone passionate about helping others develop life skills, build confidence, and thrive within their own home and local community.

Shift Pattern

AM Support Only Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday: 1-hour morning visit Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday: 2-hour morning visit Total: 10 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

Support with accessing the community and getting to know the local area Assist with cooking, meal preparation, and learning to use appliances Help with shopping, budgeting, managing bills, and correspondence Support to manage benefits and attend appointments Encourage a healthy routine including cleaning, tidying, and personal care Promote independence and confidence in parenting responsibilities

Essential Requirements

Female (occupational requirement under Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9) Previous experience in care or support work (preferred but not essential) Empathetic, patient, and able to encourage independence Good communication skills and the ability to follow support plans Right to work in the UK Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply (we can support the process)
