Working as a support worker isn't just a job; it's a career where you can make someone's day brighter, bring a smile to their face, and create opportunities for happiness. We're currently looking to hire for our care home in Twickenham, London.

This post is restricted to females only as a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9 paragraph 1, Equality Act 2010.

About the role:

The service is led by registered nurses and is located in Twickenham, London. We're seeking to hire full-time, part-time, and bank support workers to join our dedicated team. Our focus is on the people who live in our service, ensuring that they receive care tailored to their individual needs.

Those we support engage in a range of activities, including arts and crafts, trips to the cinema, and yoga sessions.

You will be assisting individuals with complex needs, including those who are nonverbal, have epilepsy, visual impairments, or require the use of wheelchairs. Given these needs, we're looking for support workers who have some prior experience and are at ease providing personal care, such as bathing, assisting with toileting, or shaving. Have at least 1 years' experience working with people who have learning disabilities and mobility issues.

Due to the vulnerability of the people that we support, face masks are worn within the service and full personal protective equipment (PPE) when providing personal care.

Hours & pay enhancements:

Full time, part time to cover long day shifts, which usually are 7:00/7:30am - 8:00pm.

Monday to Friday nights (10.00pm to 6.00am): 13.21 per hour

Saturdays and Sundays: 13.21 per hour
