Job Description

Daisy (12) is a lively, active little girl who lives in a busy and fun household with her 3 siblings. Daisy is a girlie girl, she loves musicals, music and dancing. If you like to chat and sing you will get on like a house on fire.

Daisy has cerebral palsy and epilepsy, and she is a wheelchair user. Daisy has extremely complex needs and has a central line for all her nutritional requirements and is dependent on her care team for all her personal care needs.

Daisy is a little chatterbox; she is sweet and friendly, but she can present at times with challenging behaviours.

We are looking for experienced *Female support workers to join Daisy's team. You will play a very active role in supporting all her care needs

Daisy likes to play on her iPad, watch TV and loves having stories read to her. A fully equipped carer's room is provided with a video monitor and heart rate monitor to allow you to keep watch on Daisy at all times.

Essential Requirements:



Previous experience working with children. revious experience with Cerebral Palsy, Autism and complex care epilepsy and challenging behaviour. Must be comfortable working around animals as there is a dog in the home Flexibility is essential A full and clean driving license.

Working Hours:



There are a variety of shifts available

Week 1 Term Time:

Tuesday 9pm - 9:30am

Saturday 5pm - 10pm

Sunday 5pm - 10pm

Week 2 Term Time:

Saturday 7am - 5pm, 5pm - 10pm, 10pm - 7am

Sunday 7am - 5pm, 5pm - 10pm, 10pm - 9:30am

Non-Term Time:

Monday - Sunday 5pm - 10pm

Rates of Pay:

Weekdays: 15.85 per hour

Weekends: 17.85 per hour

An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable, otherwise the applicant must be willing to undertake the Care Certificate.

All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult and Child Workforce Barring.
