About the person we support

M is a fun-loving autistic young woman with a learning disability and complex emotional needs. M requires 2:1 support from her team to help her feel safe and supported. With the right support, M is funny, caring and sociable.

Currently, M's week involves three days of education and four days of activities. Her preferred activities include going to the football, bowling, dancing, watching theatre shows and playing crazy golf. Although M finds it hard to relax, she enjoys listening to music, writing about her day, looking at photos and eating out.

M's health needs combine to mean that she struggles to communicate e1ectively and can dysregulate very quickly. This can lead to behaviours of distress. M's carers need to
be able to respond calmly and follow her Positive Behaviour Support Plan.

You should be computer literate.
