DOMICILIARY CARE

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for those under their care. This role requires a proactive approach, with the ability to adapt to various situations while ensuring the safety and comfort of clients.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being. Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Drive clients to appointments or social activities Monitor clients' health status and report any changes or concerns to relevant parties. Support clients in engaging in recreational activities that promote physical and mental health.

Experience

Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not essential. Skills in communication are crucial for building rapport with clients and their families. Mechanical knowledge can be an asset when handling equipment or vehicles used in client care. A valid UK driving licence is advantageous for candidates who will be responsible for transporting clients.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: From 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 39 per week
