Overview

We are seeking skilled and reliable Fencers to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining fencing structures across various sites. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in construction-related trades and a keen eye for detail. The ideal applicant will possess a strong work ethic, safety awareness, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

Measure and mark fencing lines accurately according to project specifications Install different types of fencing materials including timber, metal, and wire mesh Use hand tools and power tools such as saws, drills, post drivers, and welding equipment to assemble fencing components Prepare sites by clearing debris, digging post holes, and setting foundations Repair or replace damaged fencing sections efficiently and safely Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters, masons, or electricians when necessary Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards Maintain a clean and organised work area throughout the project duration

Qualifications

Proven experience in fencing installation or related construction trades such as carpentry, roofing, masonry, or plumbing is preferred Knowledge of welding, fabrication, electrical systems, and construction painting is advantageous Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Strong understanding of site safety protocols and risk management Ability to interpret technical drawings and project plans accurately Physical fitness to perform manual labour including digging, lifting heavy materials, and working at heights if required Relevant qualifications or certifications in construction trades are desirable but not essential

Pay: 12.50-20.00 per hour
