The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced
Fencing Coach
to join our team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, safe, and high-quality fencing sessions for beginners through to competitive athletes.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver structured fencing sessions for individuals and groups.
Teach footwork, bladework, tactics, and competition preparation.
Support fencers in skill development and progression through levels.
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe training environment.
Attend competitions or events as required.
Liaise with the head coach or programme manager to develop training plans.
Requirements
Qualified fencing coach (e.g. British Fencing Level 2 or above, or equivalent international certification).
Experience coaching children, young people, or adults.
Strong communication and motivational skills.
A passion for teaching and developing athletes.
Current
Enhanced DBS check
(or willingness to obtain one).
First Aid qualification and safeguarding training desirable.
Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Pay: From 15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
