Role overview:
The Team Leader Driver is responsible for overseeing a small team, ensuring the successful completion of assigned projects in line with company standards.
This role requires effective coordination with project managers, site managers, and office staff to ensure that all work is carried out efficiently, safely, and to a high standard. The Team Leader will also be responsible for caring tools, overseeing team sign-ins, and ensuring all necessary permits are secured.
Key responsibilities:
Responsible for completing tasks as set by PM.
Provide signed job sheet upon completion.
Conduct weekly checks on vans to ensure they are in good condition and report issues to the Fleet Manager.
Supervise and lead a small team to ensure project deadlines are met.
Compliance with Company core values.
Report any excess materials to PM and return them to the yard.
Complete works following "The Archway Green Way of Working"
Liaise with project managers and office teams to provide updates and feedback.
Collaborate with clients, contractors& team members to ensure project success.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following Health& Safety procedures,
Required skills:
At least 1 year of experience in a fencing team leader role.
Knowledge of mortice, v-notch, knee rail, post& rail techniques.
Experience with hit&miss, hoarding.
Installation and maintenance of gates and assembling sheds.
Ability to read landscaping plans.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and working in various conditions.
Qualifications:
CSCS Card mandatory
Driving license mandatory
Working Conditions:
Work will primarily take place on construction sites.
Must be able to handle physical demands, including lifting and operating heavy tools.
