Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring timely delivery Assist with food safety and proper food handling procedures Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tables and service areas Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and efficiently Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction Support with basic food preparation when necessary, adhering to health standards Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques Strong guest service skills with a friendly, professional demeanour Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately Kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends as required

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 25 per week
