Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated, experienced and skilled Fibreglass Laminator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of fibreglass components, producing GRP Box Trailers, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process. This role requires a keen eye for detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively with various tools and materials.

Responsibilities

Fabricate fibreglass components according to specifications and design requirements. Assemble parts using hand tools and power tools, ensuring precision and quality in every task. Perform painting and finishing tasks to achieve the desired aesthetic and protective qualities of products. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes. Conduct basic maths calculations as needed for measurements and material estimates. Utilise mechanical knowledge to operate equipment efficiently and safely. Assist with welding tasks as required during the assembly process.

Skills

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for fabrication and assembly tasks. Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is advantageous. Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Strong mechanical knowledge to understand machinery operations. Ability to weld is a plus but not mandatory. Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
